1. Who we are and what this covers
Hintyard is a community project operated by hashiromer, for people sharing questions and practical solutions about AI tools. This policy covers our public website and interactive preview.
Posts labeled Demo use illustrative people and conversations. Other contributions are shared with the community. Removing a demo post also removes replies, votes, and saved links attached to it.
2. Information you enter
When you sign up, Supabase processes your email address, password, and chosen display name to create and authenticate your Hintyard account. Supabase also stores your public profile, questions, shared-chat links, responses, votes, reply notifications, and collections so these features work across devices. Public profiles and posts are visible to other visitors. Individual votes and private collections are accessible to their owner and application administrators. Reply notifications are visible to their recipient; read status is saved across sessions.
Passwords are sent over an encrypted connection to Supabase Auth. Hintyard does not store your password in browser storage. Supabase stores a password hash for email/password accounts. Do not enter confidential conversations, access tokens, financial information, or other sensitive data.
3. Storage and deletion
Hintyard uses browser storage for Supabase session tokens. Community content is stored in Supabase, not browser storage. It does not set advertising or analytics cookies.
Signing out ends this browser’s Supabase session but does not delete your account or community content. In-app reply notifications update while you are connected and are stored for later visits. You can opt into reply emails separately for each post and turn them off on the post or through the unsubscribe link in an email. These emails include the response text and a link to the conversation. Demo posts do not send reply emails. Content remains until removed by the operator or through an available deletion feature. Demo threads may be permanently cleared during development, including contributions and reply notifications attached to those threads.
Clearing site data removes local session tokens and any old browser-only preview data; it does not delete server records. Old browser-only preview entries are not uploaded automatically. Contact contact@hintyard.com to request account or content deletion. Account deletion removes the profile, votes, and owned collections; published posts and responses can remain with the author account detached unless the content is separately removed.
4. Website delivery and external services
Your browser sends ordinary connection information, such as your IP address, browser information, and requested URL, to the services that deliver this website. When the site is hosted, its hosting provider may process technical logs to deliver and protect the service. Provider log retention follows the providers’ policies.
This website loads fonts from Google Fonts. Font requests send connection information to Google; they do not sign you in to a Google account. The current app includes no analytics trackers, advertising pixels, or AI model API calls.
Shared conversation links open third-party websites only when you follow them. We do not fetch or import the linked conversations. Those websites apply their own privacy policies. Hintyard does not sell community information or use it for targeted advertising.
5. Accounts and Google sign-in
If you choose Google sign-in, Google shares your account identifier, email address, and basic profile information with Supabase and Hintyard. We use these details to authenticate you and display your profile. We do not request access to Gmail, Drive, or other Google content.
Supabase stores account records and manages sessions, confirmation, recovery, and linked identities. Resend processes recipient addresses and email contents to deliver confirmation, password reset, security emails, and opted-in reply notifications from hintyard.com. Pending reply emails are stored privately for delivery and bounded retries; their saved email content is cleared when sending completes, is cancelled, or permanently fails. Account records remain until deleted; provider delivery and security logs follow the providers’ retention practices. You can link Google in Account settings or add a password to use either login method.
6. Your choices and privacy requests
You can browse without creating an account, stop using the preview at any time, and clear local data using your browser settings. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information we hold. Contact the operator using the details below for questions about those requests.
If you contact us, we use the details you choose to provide to respond to your request. Avoid sending passwords or sensitive information. The preview is not intended for children under 13; please do not submit a child’s personal information.
7. Changes to this policy
We will update the date on this page when this policy changes. For material changes to how personal information is handled, we will provide an appropriate notice and obtain consent where required before applying the new use.
